Lanikai Beach

I’m just back from Hawaii and already want to go back. This time we went to Oahu for our honeymoon. We picked North Shore for our stay. Honolulu is very busy, it doesn’t feel like tropical paradise and we wanted to disconnect from everyday city life. Turtle Bay Resort was wonderful, I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was beautiful, service was great and the location is just perfect!

Every day was an adventure: we swam with sharks, explored the island, kayaked, hiked and of course enjoyed sunsets with Pina Coladas in our private hot tub…

Island life is simple. You go to farmers market in the morning, then drive to a beach, take a surf lesson, eat fresh tuna poke for lunch, check out local store with jewelry and hand made goodies, pick up a coconut at food truck. It’s all about enjoying simple things and nature around you. We are definitely planning to get a vacation house here!
